Company History
The company was opened in March 1980 and has been in operation for 32 years. NorCab Pty Ltd was originally opened up as Northern Cables (Vic) Pty Ltd.
In the first few years we focused on building strong foundations for the business to 'set standards' for the future and expand on it, primarily dealing with cable as a wholesaler. Northern Cables provided a special and complete service to all customers by providing an 'underground service'; swift response, prompt delivery, arriving on site with the cable loaded into stands mounted and unwound.
This spirit continues to be engendered in the expanded company today. In recent years the company has changed its focus from cable wholesaling to also include cable accessories, domestic & industrial bakelite and datacomm, therefore increasing the product range and keeping pace with modern technology.
