The team at NorCab is shocked and saddened by the human devastation and carnage caused by the Victorian bushfires, and sends our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones, homes and livelihoods as a result of the fires.

Being most active in our home turf in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, we have heard countless heart-breaking firsthand accounts of loss and bravery from NorCab customers, affiliates and long time friends. Some friends in areas near us such as Bendigo, Kinglake, Yea, Wandong, Heathcote Junction, Marysville, Kilmore, Taggerty, Buxton, Narbethon and Flowerdale have lost property and livestock, some, close family members, while others have literally lost it all.

Our goal this month is to set up a victims relief program to lend financial assistance to those most severely affected by the past week's events which will surely go down as one of the worst natural disasters in our country's history. Very shortly we will announce how our customers can work with NorCab to help those worst hit to get back on their feet.

It is the least we can do to make a difference as we stand beside our fellow Aussies in battling back to our collective feet and looking forward to the future again with hope, as Australians time and again have shown they are so good at doing.
